CT Eastern Annual Banquet
The annual banquet will be held on Sunday, January 12th at Angellino's Restaurant, 135-A Storrs Road (Rte 195), Mansfield, CT (just North of Eastbrook Mall) at 1:00PM.
The meal will be sit-down style rather than buffet and we have been assured that there will be plenty of food for everyone. Each person may choose stuffed chicken, beef tips marsala, or eggplant parmigiana. Family style pasta with marinara sauce, garden salad, coffee, tea, and soft drinks are included. The low price for this dinner is only $15.00 per person. For this price you can't afford to stay home.
After dinner, we will have a presentation by Bruce Clouette, Professor at the University of Connecticut in Storrs. He will talk about the railroad history of Long Wharf in New London. To conclude, we will have a short review of the year's activities by Mark Granville. Be sure to attend.
The deadline for reservations is January 6th. Because of the lateness of this Ghost Train Journal announcement, it will be neceessary for you to phone your reservations to Mark Granville at (860)456-3956, or Jeff Laverty at (860)429-7961, or come to the January 5th business meeting. If you phone, be prepared to give your name, number of reservations, your phone number, and the number of each type of meal.
