October, 20 2007 Update

Two weeks worth of photos

The New England Blacksmiths were at the museum practicing their craft.

We were tamping again. Can you tell where we stopped?

When we get to those last jacks, this section will be done.

The turntable builders plate with a fresh coat of silver paint. The letters will be painted black in a few weeks.

The ring rail is in place and most of the concrete has been poured.

The last of the turntable ties to be notched.

Ties ready to be shipped out for coating.

One end of the turntable bridge with new paint.

After some light bending, Dick moves a piece of ring rail closer to where it will be installed.

After the summer off, the S-4 is having more paint scrapped and readied for a fresh coat.
