New Haven Caboose #C-618 Updated 9/15/2007
The New Haven RR purchased 125 all-steel cabooses between 1940 and 1944 from Pullman Standard and numbered them C-510 through C-634. They were of all-welded construction and the New Haven classified them as Class NE-5. This one was built in July 1944.
